Professional Risks business appoints PII specialist

JM Glendinning Professional Risks, part of the JMG Group, has hired David Burnhope as its new client director, specialising in professional indemnity insurance (PII) for the property industry. David joins JM Glendinning Professional Risks with over 13 years in insurance, most recently at PIB Insurance Brokers, specialising in professional indemnity insurance working with surveyors and architects. Prior to this, he worked at Cowans Group as a commercial account executive, having previously started his insurance career with the NFU Mutual

David’s appointment is part of JM Glendinning Professional Risks’ continued growth strategy. The business plans to build on David’s specialism with future recruits. Based in North East Derbyshire, David’s appointment also represents an expansion into South Yorkshire and Derbyshire for the Professional Risks team, which is now 10 people strong with centres in Leeds and Birmingham.
