JM Glendinning South Yorkshire expands office to accommodate growth

JM Glendinning South Yorkshire has extended its Penistone office, doubling its existing workspace at its carbon-negative commercial property Bullhouse Mill and providing scope for the continued growth of its team.

Mark Browne, managing director at JM Glendinning South Yorkshire, and his current team of nine insurance brokers have their sights set on further growth yet were keen to stay in the company’s current premises, where they have been based since 2009. So, when the next-door premises became available it seemed like the right opportunity to expand.

Mark says:

“We’ve enjoyed steady, continual, organic growth over the last 13 years. From starting out as a two-person team to now reaching the point where we require extra office space is a fantastic achievement.”

“Apart from knocking holes in two walls, there hasn’t been any interruption to our regular working schedule. It gives us the freedom to expand our team as much as we want in the future, or if a small team is acquired locally we now have the space to accommodate them.”

Part of the JMG Group, the South Yorkshire business provides commercial and private insurance services. On the back of its recent success, it is now on the lookout for additional account executives and handlers to join the team.
