He started his career in the insurance industry straight out of University, where he studied Chemistry. Spencer has developed a keen interest in the construction and real estate industry and is eager to develop in his role and enhance the service the business offers. Spencer’s appointment takes the head count at the Birmingham office to three.

Says Chris Hitch, JM Glendinning Birmingham MD: “It’s great to have Spencer on board. Spencer is bright and adaptable, and his knowledge, experience, commitment and ambition will be a real asset to the business. His role is key in enabling us to develop the business further and he is keen to support the business in its next stage of growth. Without a doubt, quality people are an integral part of the success of any business and Spencer is a brilliant asset.”

Says Spencer: “The role really appealed to me because of the opportunity to work in this more specialist field of insurance broking. It’s an exciting new challenge for me and I’m already enjoying working on some of the more complex policy requirements and I’ve learned a great deal working alongside Chris.”

JM Glendinning Birmingham was established in 2017 to provide a boutique insurance broking service for developers, investors and contractors of all sizes and specialisms in the real estate and construction sector. The office fulfils the insurance requirements of development and property investment projects, whether it is at acquisition stage or through to the income producing asset.
