Professional Risks business hits £5m growth target

JM Glendinning Professional Risks Insurance Brokers has hit its £5million premium income target having grown rapidly from a standing start, in under four years.

The business launched in 2015 when professional indemnity insurance specialist, Jake Fox, joined the JM Glendinning group to set up the professional risks business. The team delivers specialist broking and claims support for professional services.

Jake plans to grow the division into a £10 million premium income business employing a growing team of specialists over the next three years. Jake says: “We have a great team on board, doing a fantastic job and we all have the drive and input into helping grow the business. We plan to grow the team further by recruiting staff who are classically trained but disenfranchised and want to make a real impact on the business.”

Jake continues: “For most professional services businesses, professional indemnity is the third largest expense after staff and premises and so it’s important they invest the time in getting the right cover.
