Management Team to raise funds for Teenage Cancer Trust

Nine members of JM Glendinning’s Management team will tackle the Yorkshire 3 Peaks on Thursday 5th June 2014 to raise funds for Teenage Cancer Trust.

Paul Glendinning, Group CEO comments:

We’ve had this event planned for some time now, but initially it was intended as just a team building exercise for the team. However, in recent weeks we’ve been so inspired by the story of Stephen Sutton, the teenager who recently passed away after raising over £3m, that we decided to also raise funds for Teenage Cancer Trust. It’s a fantastic charity and Stephen set a great example to all of us in how to make the most of even the very worst of situations.

The Yorkshire 3 Peaks event involves walking roughly 25 miles in a day, ascending over 2,000 metres to reach the summits of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.
