JM Glendinning strengthens its team in the Midlands

JM Glendinning Insurance Brokers has further strengthened its Birmingham office with the appointments of Blake Hynds to its Professional Risks team and Lee Gavin to the Real Estate business.

Blake Hynds joins as client director, bringing 14 years of insurance industry experience to the role. He joins from Wesleyan where he worked for 12 years, eight of which were spent working closely with law firms providing Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII) support and advice on key insurance issues their businesses face in changing markets.

Lee Gavin joins JM Glendinning Real Estate as a client service director. With 20 years of experience working in the insurance industry, Lee has extensive knowledge of the real estate insurance market having worked previously at Gallagher and Pi Property Insurance. Lee says: “The opportunity to join JM Glendinning, help build the business and progress my career here is a very exciting prospect. Real Estate MD Chris Hitch and I share the same values and passion for high levels of client service and I am looking forward to what the future holds.”

On his appointment in the Professional Risks business, Blake Hynds says: “I had reached the point in my career where I wanted to expand my horizons and become part of an ambitious and growing business. I knew that there is a fantastic support network at JM Glendinning that would allow me to better my career and I also knew that I could learn a lot from working with Jake Fox. I really love the appetite for growth and development that exists here.”
