JM Glendinning promotes two key staff to the Board of Directors

We’re pleased to announce that we have promoted two of our Senior Management team to our Board of Directors, in recognition of the decisive role that both have played in the growth of our business.

Lee Elgie joined us in 2013 as Head of Operations and has now been promoted to Group HR and Operations Director. Kathren Wright joined us in 2014 as Head of Operational Finance and has now been promoted to the role of Group Finance Director.

As a growing business, these promotions highlight the importance of a clear succession plan to help us to continue that growth, and are a testament to Lee and Kathren’s significant contribution to the business over the past few years.

Both Lee and Kathren have worked closely with all of our group businesses across four different locations. In their time with the business, they have been involved in a wide range of projects, including the acquisition of AS Green Insurance Brokers, and their integration in to the group, as well as the inception of several new group businesses.

Lee will continue to play a central role in the way we conduct business and ensure that we meet and exceed our compliance obligations as a regulated business. This involves working very closely with all internal staff, as well as our external insurer partners. He will also now take on formal responsibility for our Human Resources processes across the group.

Kathren has already streamlined many areas of the finance function to enable faster, more accurate processes and reporting. She now takes full responsibility for the finance team to enable her to take this improvement further and ensure that all group businesses are working in a consistent way.
