AS Green & Co joins the JM Glendinning Group

With immediate effect, AS Green & Co – an independent insurance broker from Scarborough – is now part of the JM Glendinning Group.

A.S. Green & Co – one of East Yorkshire’s largest independent insurance brokers – is now part of our group.

We have acquired a majority shareholding in the Scarborough-based business, which was established in 1978. Based in Scarborough town centre, A.S Green’s team of 13 staff provide business and personal insurance and risk management services to clients in the Scarborough area.

Founder Tony Green, who will continue to lead the business, says there will be very little change to the day-to-day running of the firm, and that clients will benefit from being part of a larger insurance group:

JM Glendinning is a well-respected name in the industry. Being part of the group will give us access to more insurers and give us greater buying power to source competitive products and services for our clients, who will also have the opportunity to access the additional services JM Glendinning offers, such as employee benefits and health and safety support.”
